For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
For a group of survivors will come out of Jerusalem, and those who escape will come from Mount Zion. The passionate commitment of the LORD Almighty will make this happen.

📚 Historical Context
This promise was given during the Assyrian siege of Jerusalem around 701 BC, when King Hezekiah and the people faced seemingly impossible odds against the powerful Assyrian army. The prophet Isaiah delivered this message as God's assurance that despite the overwhelming threat, He would preserve a faithful remnant of His people. Mount Zion refers to the hill where Jerusalem and the temple were built, representing the heart of Jewish worship and identity.
